theCodeFactory is struck by a Tornado.
Yes, that is right last week a Tornado foosball table that started out in Philthy McNastys in Kingston made its way along the 416 and touched down at 246 Queen Street. Thank you to Marquis Cote of theotherside for his generous donation that enabled this storm to be a part of theCodeFactory lounge.
I also wanted to thank Mark Stephenson from RealDecoy for his expert advice on the type of table to get. Mark and Eric Hagborgh for their offer of custom foosball league software developed to manage the highly competitive Real Decoy league.
Cheers,
Ian Graham

A Tornado. Perfect! That’s the best kind of game play there is. I have one myself.
I’ll gladly volunteer some time to teach those interested in getting good at this game.
There’s a league in ottawa (ottawafoos.com) with lots of league nights, tournaments and trips. Believe me, foosball is way more hardcore and skillful than you think.
Here’s a nice primer on defense and the different types of shots.

I think there should be a CodeFactory foosball team entered into the league. Let’s play!
Kareem,
We will need to set up a tournament. If I remember correctly you and Rob didn’t quite get the better of us on our own table. I imagine the Tornado will level the playing field…
You got it Erik! I’ll see you at the CodeFactory some day soon.
I am in for sure. Real decoy doesn’t stand a chance against kareem’s finess and my defensive skills. Losers buy the beer.
I just came here by accident. Searching a name in Internet. Wondering what “foosball” means. Ok! In France, we say “Baby-Foot”. Now i have something to speak about for my interview
Thanks.
